ENVIRONMENT
Ginny is your environmental champion who will fight for:
- A halt to Mariner East until there is a credible emergency plan funded by the operators, not taxpayers
- Fully funded government agencies responsible for protecting our public health, safety, and natural resources
- Creating a level playing field in the energy sector by eliminating fossil fuel subsidies
- A fair, equitable carbon tax and incentives for consumers to transition to clean energy
- Alternatives to single-use petrochemical plastic
- A smart, renewable-energy-friendly power grid
- Family-sustaining clean energy jobs
EDUCATION
Ginny will uphold her Constitutional oath to “provide for the maintenance and support of a thorough and efficient system of public education.” Ginny will fight for:
- Fully and fairly funded quality public education from Pre-K to college.
- Reducing reliance on property tax by increasing the state share of funding for public schools
- Reducing standardized testing
- Increasing capacity in our communities and schools for mental health support, social-emotional learning, and trauma-informed education
HEALTH & SAFETY
Ginny believes that healthy, safe communities are essential to our Constitutional rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Ginny will fight for:
- Reducing the epidemic of opioid addiction & substance use disorder
- Universal access to affordable healthcare
- Equitable coverage for mental health and addiction treatment
- Lower prescription drug prices
- Common-sense gun safety reforms
ECONOMIC JUSTICE
Ginny believes in fairness and equality in the community and workplace. If elected she will fight for:
- Protection from discrimination on the basis of age, gender, religion, sexual orientation or race
- Unions’ and workers’ right to organize
- Fair pay, including raising the minimum hourly wage to $15
- Paid family and maternity/parental leave
