Food and Water Action January 23, 2020:

Chester County–Food & Water Action PAC announces its endorsement of Ginny Kerslake, candidate for PA House District 167 in Chester County. The district includes Easttown, East Whiteland, West Whiteland, Willistown, Charlestown, West Pikeland, and Malvern Borough.

Kerslake pledges that once elected, she will stand up against the fossil fuel industry and other special interests that corrupt our state government. She will fight to end fossil fuel subsidies, increase renewable energy incentives and halt the plan to turn Pennsylvania into a petrochemical plastics hub.

Samuel Rubin, Eastern Pennsylvania Organizer with Food & Water Action PAC, released the following statement:

“Ginny Kerslake should be the democratic nominee for State Representative, full stop. She will fight to reinvigorate the Democratic party and is the strongest candidate to ensure this embattled seat remains in Democratic hands, a crucial step toward having a majority in the state legislature.

“Ginny has shown her mettle by stepping up to advocate for her community. She will bring that same commitment to Harrisburg and provide the leadership so desperately needed. Ginny will always show up, listen to her constituents’ concerns, and speak truth to power.

“Food & Water Action PAC is endorsing Ginny because she has a proven track record on the environment. During the commissioners race in 2019, she was endorsed by Food & Water Action and other environmental groups. Ginny is the champion we need, and we know she will never compromise on her commitment to protect her community.”
